The Bonham overlooks the peaceful Drumsheugh Gardens which guests have full access to during their stay to read the morning paper or to walk your dog. Beautiful original architectural features like wooden panelling, carved doorframes, cornicing and detailed stonework were painstakingly preserved and restored to their former glory during our recent refurbishment. The buildings the Bonham Hotel now occupy have a fascinating history dating back to the midth century and were originally constructed as 3 separate townhouses in The houses were occupied by well to do families and their servants for the next 60 years, enjoying the privacy of Drumsheugh Gardens and the ease of access to everything Edinburgh had to offer.
Following the sale of Muir Hall the Bonham Hotel opened in as one of the first boutique hotels in the city. After an extensive renovation in the hotel now offers guests one of the best places to stay in Edinburgh and is still true to the original aspiration of providing a homely and friendly base whilst visiting Edinburgh.
